What do you guys want first? The recipe or the big news?
Should I torture you guys and make you read all about these tasty brownies I made? And then share the boring news big news? I think that is an absolutely wonderful idea!
So I have a HUGE sweet tooth. This summer has been extremely tough because I love indulging in the summer time. I have no idea why… but cupcakes and ice cream just call to me during this time. I have been actually been really, really, really good this summer. I deserve a medal or something. Even just a piece of paper that says you rock on it would be nice. Anyway when I come across low calorie desserts, I just have to give them a try. Especially when I feel like giving in and indulging in something that could be deadly to my calorie purse.
Last night we had a date night, which was the perfect opportunity to try these Skinny Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies. I had to make some changes since I did not have the oats, so I just used 3/4 cup wheat flour instead. I also used Greek yogurt, instead of any ol’ vanilla yogurt. It was very moist and definitely delicious!

Yummy. If you want to be less messy, you can line your pan with parchment paper as Trying Not to be Fat pointed out on my facebook page. :p
Okay so see, that wasn’t tough! On to the exciting news…
I got on the scale this morning…
And I was at…
199.6. Holy cow.
I am in the 100′s.
You did ittt!!! *Confetti* *noisemakers* Wheeee!
and LOL about my parchment comment.
wohooo! you are awesome! you go girl!! (imagine all these things being written on a sign/certificate just for you). And that was just for avoiding all those indulgences this summer. The REAL congrats is for making it to onederland! You are kicking ass and taking names!
I know… I just kind of wish the certificate could be printed out of my scale or something. That would be a pretty awesome invention. A scale that rewards you for being awesome. Yes, please.
And thanks! It hasn’t quite sunk in yet how far I have come and how close I am to my yearly goal. It’s pretty freakin’ crazy.
Yay! Conrgrats on reaching the 100s!!!
Thank you so much!
That is so funny– I made those this weekend but they didn’t come out so great for me. I’m glad they came out well for you though!! And, CONGRATS on your milestone!!
Oh really? What went wrong, do you think? Did they not taste good? I thought they were delicious. Like I said, I used whole wheat flour and dark chocolate and greek yogurt, so it was a little different from the recipe. =D
Congrats, Nemesis!!! I’m very proud of you!!
Thank yah!
Congratulations, you’re officially in onederland!!!
Those brownies look good, too. I clicked on the link and saw a recipe for cake batter blondies… Just about died. :p
I know! I feel like I am can go join a club now or something.
And the brownies are pretty freaking delicious.
And yeah
I saw those too. Ooops.
Congrats what a milestone!!
Thanks! It is a little anticlimatic at the moment…but still pretty awesome. No confetti came pouring down around me. No serenading of angels. No heavenly light. Sigh. Need to get all installed before the next milestone.
Yay! That is really amazing and awesome!
Thank you! It feels awesome!
Congratulations on your milestone.
Hey thanks! I am kicking my own ass, and it’s awesome. I’ll be ready to take on the world soon!
I can’t give you a piece of paper that says you rock, but I can leave you a comment: you rock girl!!! Keep it up. I know how hard it is and it only ets easier…promise! P. s. I’m totally making those brownies this weekend. Peanut butter and chocolate? Don’t mind if I do…:))
Thanks! And they are really good. I mean you can tell they are low fat, but they are still freaking jealous!
This is no piece of paper but: YOU ROCK!
The 100′s, you did it! Yahoooo!!! Congrats, Cassie!! Inspiring, extremely inspiring!
