Time For A Giveaway!

It is the moment you have all been waiting for! My Halfway There Giveaway!

YAY! It is a huge feat to make it this far! I have made it up the hill or halfway up the mountain? I am guessing you never want to go down the hill when it comes to weight loss, huh?  Anyway for this giveaway you have 3 Choices! Each choice is something that has motivated me during this journey and hopefully one of them is something that can motivate you too!

Choice #1: The 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels

Thanks Amazon For the Picture!

Me and this DVD have had a long relationship. It seriously kicks my ass every single time… even just level 1 makes me want to cry… and I still haven’t had the guts to do level 3! But you quickly see a change in your stamina after just a few days which is completely awesome!

Choice #2: The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin

This book is helping to shape my life. It made me realize that I can actually do small things to contribute to my own happiness besides just waiting around for good things to happen! Gretchen Rubin does an amazing job of breaking down what she wants to focus on for each month of the year. It is a project I definitely want to concentrate more on! She also has a blog that you can check out! Feel free to look at it here.

Choice #3: Unlimited by Jillian Michaels

I just love her, ok? Her work out DVDs and her books! This one is all about being positive and taking control of your true potential. Find your passion! I just really love books like these… they make me go “Oh yeah! I can so totally do that!” and gets me off my lazy butt and try to actually do it. I am still reading this one but I definitely recommend it (even if you don’t win or if this is not one of your first choices!).

  1. I wish someone would’ve told me… Every day is a new opportunity to start over. If you failed yesterday, don’t give up. Start over today.

  2. I wish someone would have told me this… In order to truly make changes you have to like yourself. I know that sound like a contradiction but if you analyze it it makes sense. How can you make positive changes if you don’t like yourself? So many times I lost weight to make everyone else happy, but I sure wasn’t! Not on the inside anyway. This time around its not about just losing weight actually its not about that at all!! Phew… That’s a bit more long winded than I had wanted!

  3. I wish someone had told me that I was powerful enough to make change happen…and all I had to do was DECIDE to start making different choices. I always waited/prayed for a miracle…like one morning I’d wake up and automatically be “skinny.” I wish I had simply believed in myself more and maybe if i’d had some healthy examples in my life, I would have gotten on track a lot earlier in life! Good thing I figured it out on my own, and now my goal is not “skinny” but “fit.” 🙂

  4. I wish that I was told that it was okay to mess up, that it was okay to lose just inches and not pounds. Why are people so fixated with pounds? I also more people told me that they had faith in me and that I could do this.

  5. I wish I’d been told that if I don’t start NOW – right NOW – that it will only get worse.

Just found your blog today (thanks for following mine!) and can’t wait to catch up!

  6. I wish someone had told me…. that this isn’t about how anyone else lost weight or got fit. This is my journey and I need to find what works for me. There isn’t one plan that works for everyone, you have to find the balance that fits your life and works for you.

  7. I wish someone had told me that as you lose weight you will burn less calories per running mile than you do at a higher weight.
